Adelphi Crowdfunding Application

Thank you for your interest in Paws for Your Cause, Adelphi University’s crowdfunding platform. This application will evaluate your campaign’s suitability for a 30-45 day fundraising campaign. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Once your application is received, a member of the Office University Advancement will be in touch. Applicants can expect approval within a week.

Deadline for Giving day applications is February 20. 

Three Phases of Your Campaign

Quiet Phase (campaign pre-launch)
This phase should begin approximately 4-6 weeks before the campaign’s desired launch date. This time should be spent getting your campaign ready (writing content, creating videos, compiling your email list, developing strategies, etc.). Your group will have several meetings with a University administrator (Sylvia Jagota) to help you develop and plan your campaign.

Active Phase (campaign launch)
This phase will last 30-45 days from the day your campaign launched. These weeks are crucial! During the campaign, team members are expected to send out at least six (6) email “asks” to their personal contact lists, make four (4) or more updates to their campaign page, push out asks via social media and otherwise make themselves available to answer questions about and raise awareness around their campaign.

Fulfillment Phase (post-campaign)
After the campaign, groups are responsible for sending out thank you emails and final updates, as well as any promised perks to donors. Remember—making your donors feel special now means that they will want to come back and support your next campaign.
